TITAN 6 Rifles
The Rößler Waffen Rowa GmbH has never had an official website. This page is about their rifles by using material I found on the manufacturer’s own website. Rößler Rifles are manufactured in Germany, but also imported to Canada by Graf & Sons under the brand name of RÖSSLER (with or without that space).
This rifle was for sale for $1550 (Canadian dollars). An additional break action adapter can be bought for $3100(?). A buttstock with adjustable cheekpiece, length and height can be bought as well, making this gun a very flexible hunting tool out of only one box. The Rößler Rifles (TITAN 6, TITAN 12 and R 44) can be configured in many different calibers and forms. RÖSSLER is Rößler’s brandname for hunting rifles in Canada.
The RÖSSLER R-44 is produced according to customer specifications: caliber is controlled by a special chamber insert with an integrated recoil lug and steel ejector. It allows firing of any standard or wildcat cartridge. The bolt features three lugs at 90°, hence the name ‘TRIO’.
Single shot R-44 rifles are available for rimfire cartridges (.22 LR, .17 HMR etc.). It comes with interchangeable barrels in more than 30 rifle and handgun calibers such as: .17 Rem, .222 Rem., 5.6×50 Mag., 6 mm BR, 6.5×55 Mauser, 7×57 R , 8×57 JS etc. RÖSSLER Rifles are produced in calibers with revolver and rimfire breech-blocks (i.e. R 36 and R 944).
TITAN 6: the bolt locks directly into the barrel thus represent the most secure locking system in this weapon category (most of Rößler’s rifles follow this pattern) The large contact surface through the high number of locking lugs ensures optimal safety
R 44: The R 44 comes with interchangeable barrels to allow full flexibility when configuring your rifle. This means you can change between rifle and handgun calibers at will, as long as you do it with Rößler Rifles. RÖSSLER R-44 features a classic break action design that allows for quick barrel interchangeability. R 44 sports the new generation TRIO bolt locking system. The R 44 is also available in single shot version for rimfire cartridges such as .22 LR, .17 HMR and more.
